Amber Alekel, LMHCA

Amber Alekel, has been working as a school counselor since 2002. She completed her Bachelor of Science from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, OR and has received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. Amber is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (MC60940759) with the state of Washington.

Counseling Experience:

Amber started her counseling career working as a prevention specialist in Columbia County. Amber has helped many children and parents through difficult social, academic, and family situations. She currently works as a school counselor for grades 6th through 8th. 

Counseling Approach:

Amber has a passion for working with children, teens and families. She has helped many children and families who are struggling with DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, TRAUMA, GRIEF and PARENTING ISSUES. Amber knows that each person is a beautiful creation of God, and strives to get to know each individual so that she can find the best support for their unique situation.
