Background and Education
Stacy has over twenty-five years of professional experience as an educator and counselor, working with individuals, couples, and families in a clinical and pastoral counseling setting. Her international experience includes living in Taiwan and working in regions of Ghana, Ivory Coast and Mexico. She possesses a Masters of Science degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Rehabilitation Counseling. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Frostburg State University.
Philosophy & Approach
Stacy is a WA State Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and a Maryland Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Eclectic in her therapeutic approach, she frequently utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Reality Therapy. She is eager to come alongside adults and children helping them gain perspective and wholeness along their life journey.
Specializations
Stacy specializes in supporting leaders facing personal difficulties they cannot share with others due to the prominent role they hold in their organization or ministry. Also, first responders, women, children, those suffering from Bi-Polar Disorder, and those who wish to successfully navigate difficult life transitions (e.g. divorce, death/chronic condition of a loved one, career change/loss, etc.) will benefit from her extensive experience, pastoral heart and clinical skill.
