Ministry
Experience: I have been involved with ministries in a variety of ways. I attended a missionary schooling program that allowed me to come
alongside missionary families overseas. After completing that program I had the
opportunity of becoming a Student Ministries Pastor for many years. There, I served kids, teenagers, and young adults. I orchestrated summer camps,
community outreach events, and multiple ministries for the church. I taught on
Sunday mornings and provided care for hurting families in our church community.
Counseling Approach: It can often feel very difficult to share the
inner world of your mind and allow someone to come into that space. I hope to
create an environment where walls can come down and real exploration can be
pursued. I operate from an Existential and Constructivism approach, but believe
that each individual requires unique attention. In our counseling relationship,
I hope to help cultivate insight into your life, rebuild trust in yourself, and
design a life that feels authentic and achievable in every story line.
Experience with clients who have severe mental health issues and I am interested in helping people with their ANXIETY,
DEPRESSION, GRIEF & LOSS, ADDICTION, ABUSE, TRAUMA, and RELATIONAL ISSUES.
