Ministry and Mental Health Experience:
I have served in mission work in Native American Reservations in Canada and the US, in inner-city environments in Chicago, IL and Belfast, Northern Ireland, in small towns in England and Oregon, and in a village in Kenya, East Africa. I enjoy and have experience working with individuals, women, and older adults from many cultures and backgrounds.
I believe that there is hope for all those who struggle. I find it an honor to walk alongside each person on their journey toward a path of health and healing through mental emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual well-being. I use a strengths-based, mindfully integrated approach to counseling. I focus on creating a safe space for honoring the pain and struggle, learning new life skills, finding solutions, and making positive change happen so that life may be lived with meaning and hope.
I am passionate about helping those who experience DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, SELF-HARM, TRAUMA AND ABUSE, WOMEN'S ISSUES, and LIFE TRANSITIONS.
