Patricia is a graduate of Argosy University in Seattle with a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2004. She is currently applying for her Mental Health Counselors License. Her previous experience includes counseling with couples, children's groups, and women. Other work includes issues that relate specifically to women in the areas of marriage, relationships, pregnancy, loss and parenting. It is her feeling that it is an honor to be invited into peoples lives and become a part of the changes that they are making.
Ministry Experience:
As a Family and Youth Minister, together with her husband, in the Mountlake Terrace Church of Christ for two years Patricia felt it a privilege to serve the wonderful congregation through counseling, teaching, and other acts of service. Another ministry experience was at the Pregnancy Resource Center in Everett, WA were she was able to be a peer counselor to any who needed pregnancy and emotional guidance.
Teaching:
Patricia was an adjunct instructor at Ohio Valley Christian University. This experience opened the door to a love of working with adults and helping young adults pursue their education.
In her current practice at A New Life Christian Counseling, Patricia is available to work with individuals or couples, regardless of their faith perspective. She is comfortable to bring in faith and spirituality as part of the counseling processes when the individual or couple wishes. It is her practice to listen to the individual and meet their needs from their starting point. Patricia is excited to walk with you during this process of growth and change.
