Counseling Approach:

Manesha's approach to therapy is deeply relational and collaborative. She believes every individual is uniquely made in the image of God and therefore strives to honor that beauty, complexity, and depth in her work with adult clients of all ages, particularly early childhood trauma, major life transitions, and personal growth and exploration. She also received training in addiction recovery from a trauma-informed lens and excels in exploring and understanding relational/emotional wounds, in order to come to a greater understanding of what is getting in the way of living the life you want. Together, she and her clients challenge the unhelpful patterns of engaging with oneself, others, faith, and the world.

Manesha acknowledges that therapy is a vulnerable process. Her hope is that together she can create a secure environment for each client to tackle even the most painful and discomforting topics. She encourages her clients to speak as openly and freely as possible, particularly about the concerns that brought them to therapy. She will listen attentively and with curiosity to what you share. With empathy and kindness, she offers reflections on what she hears and brings your attention to things that may be outside your awareness. She will offer accountability and support while keeping your goals at the forefront of our work. If this sounds like what you are looking for, she hopes to hear from you and get you started on our journey together!

Faith and Spirituality:

Born into a missionary/pastoral family, her relationship with Jesus has always been at the center of her life and communities. Manesha firmly believes that life is best lived when one is authentically connected to themselves, others, and God. From international missions to participation with local ministry, she has loved seeing how God is at work in different communities across the world. She has also come to see how much pain is present in the world. She believes we are relational beings at our core, and it is often disruptions to our most important relationships that are at the core of our suffering. Therefore, her passion is walking alongside people and helping them to become more connected, present, and joyful.
