In the last several years it became clear to me that one of my favorite aspects in all my years of pastoral ministry, and life in general, is the honor of walking with people through their journey of struggle, challenge, adjustment, growth, and development. While I enjoy teaching, leading, and developing people on teams, I am passionate about coming alongside individuals, couples, and families to support and encourage them in their desire to experience greater wholeness in Christ. Whether 1-on-1 or in group settings, I provide compassionate, empathetic, skillful, and culturally competent support to create safe spaces for people to experience greater awareness, healing, and growth. Through both in-person and online (telehealth) appointments, I focus on building authentic, therapeutic connection, restoring hope, and empowering clients in moving toward greater wholeness.
Counseling experience:
Since 2001, I have had the honor of serving and leading in cross-cultural ministry settings in Oregon and in various parts of the world. From 2004-2024, I had the privilege of serving in vocational pastoral ministry in several different roles: 5 years as a Youth Pastor, 2 years as a College and Young Adult Pastor, 3 years as a Church Planter and Community Pastor, and 10 and a half years as the Lead Pastor of a vibrant, healthy and growing church in the Portland Metro area. I also have 7 years of experience working in the corporate world, and have volunteered with several community organizations throughout the years, and have had the joy of helping people grow, develop and pursue their goals in these settings as well. It has been a privilege to serve Christ through serving people in these various roles over the last 25 years. I continue to be an ordained Pastor with the Christian & Missionary Alliance through the Alliance NW District.
